DAVID M. O’CONNOR is a cum laude graduate of Boston College Law School and Georgetown University.
O’Connor founded the firm in 1990. Since then, he has been trying cases to verdict or to declaratory/administrative conclusion in diverse practice areas, including construction defects; employment practices; intellectual property; broker errors & omissions; insurance coverage; extra-contractual carrier exposures; enforcement of post-acquisition restrictive covenants; discrimination in the workplace and public accommodation; dramshop and administrative liquor licensing liability; OSHA citation and penalty defense; Federal False Claims Act litigation and debarment proceedings; commercial first-party insurance property claims and general liability defense.
O’Connor regularly presents to regional and national organizations, such as the Risk & Insurance Management Society, the University Risk Management Association, the Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriters, the American Staffing Association, the Massachusetts Staffing Association, the Litigation Counsel of America, the Claims & Litigation Management Alliance, the Associated Subcontractors of Massachusetts and the Association of General Contractors of Massachusetts. He is called upon as an authority on insurance coverage, contractual risk transfer, employment practices defense and in humanizing the corporate defendant.
David has long been recognized as a Massachusetts Super Lawyer and in Martindale-Hubbell’s Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers. He also serves as a Fellow in peer-selected organizations such as Litigation Counsel of America and the Council on Litigation Management. He is a member of the Board of Directors to the Massachusetts Staffing Association.
